One day I decided I would be an author. I think I was fifteen. I knew I loved to write, and that people liked the stories I told.
For some naïve reason, I thought this is what the bulk of publishing meant.
Now I realize that publishing is also about 1,000 little details regarding things like who you publish with, editing, cover art, marketing and so forth. Whoo! Well, by God’s grace…I made it. (Thanks, everyone!)
I’m here! At the end/beginning of my publishing journey. My dreams are taking flight, my ambitions coming to fruition…and you, my lovely reader, are a part of it.
I know this will come to something—after all, I have stories to tell! I have dreamed and planned out the Ayphae series and The Flames Chronicles series (not out yet) for about a decade and a half now. I configured languages, history, science and so forth—tons of different cultural aspects, you name it—and implemented it into a single world. The introductory offering is titled Ayphae, with a collection of short stories (Tales of Ayphae) detailing the backstories of the land and of some of its characters.
And I look forward to sharing the rest of this world with you as time unfolds.
